When you buy a ticket at a metro station, you can’t just walk away.
You need to wait in line for several minutes.
The process takes time, but sometimes you’ll get lucky.
For instance, on Saturday, a man got his Delta ticket at 7:40pm.
It went on sale just as he was going to board a train.
After waiting in line, the ticket was issued and he was able to walk away at about 8:15pm.
A few minutes later, the same man got a ticket for a different train that ran through the station.
It was around 10:15 pm.
Both tickets were issued just as the train left the station and it was then that he had to wait about 20 minutes before being allowed to board the train again.
So, you’d have to wait 20 minutes for both of them.
