More than half of all Australians have registered their domains with a domain name provider, and almost half of Australians say they have not registered their domain with a DNS provider.
Domains are typically registered to a single name provider but some people choose to register multiple domains to create a new company or to protect their identity, such as with a business or company-owned domain.
Domain registrars provide an online platform to find out if you are registered with a different provider.
If you want to check if you have registered a domain, use the Domain Status service to check your IP address.
This is an IP address that is commonly associated with your domain.
If your IP is correct, then you are currently registered with an appropriate provider.
If you are not, then there is a good chance you have been registered incorrectly.
If an issue with your registration occurs, you should contact the Domain Services Manager for help.
You can use the service to find the most up-to-date status of your domain registration.
