The Big B Bang Theory is now back on air after being cancelled for a second time due to an issue with its ticketing system.
The show’s production company, New Line Cinema, said it had received an error message on its ticket-ordering system.
“The Big Bang has been cancelled due to a problem with the system, and the cancellation of the show is not the reason for the cancellation,” it said in a statement.
“New Line Cinema will be reviewing the tickets on the system at a later date.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”ABC boss Scott Meyer said the cancellation was “devastating” to fans who were looking forward to seeing the series return for the first time since its 2013 reboot.”
We’re sorry to all of you, our fans,” he said.
“We have been working hard to get the show back, and we’re really sorry this happened.”
The show was originally set to return to air in September, but its original date was pushed back to October because of the threat of a pandemic.ABC is now airing the first half of the second season of the series on Monday.
