Campbells, Missouri (AP) A man who died after a collision involving two commercial vehicles in Campbell, Missouri was driving the first vehicle when it hit the other vehicle, Campbell County sheriff’s officials said Friday.
Deputies say a pickup truck driven by 37-year-old Mark McBride crashed into a silver Nissan Versa on a shoulder near Interstate 35W in Campbell about 6:20 p.m.
Two people in the Nissan were transported to Campbell Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Campbell Deputy Chief Chris Dukes said.
The pickup driver was not hurt.
Dukes says investigators believe the crash was accidental.
The sheriff’s office is working with the U.S. attorney’s office in Campbell to determine whether criminal charges will be filed against McBride.
Duke says no arrests have been made.
